![]() We would like to thank you for playing Forge of Empires and for supporting us during the last five years. ![]() Dear Queens and Kings Can you believe that Forge of Empires is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year We went through many ups and downs and achieved numerous milestones since 2012. (Or at least that's what happened last time I had one, dunno if that's still a thing.) A set of 3, I don't mind.a set of much more than that is automatically on my "ignore" list. The 2017 5th Anniversary Event is a new special event that ran from Apto April 24, 2017. And that's on top of the timers all resetting when you break the set for two seconds moving things around. Research has been part of the events since the start, so who does not understand FoE Seems to me there is only one. Especially whem you do it just before an event starts. 12 attack bonus equates to 24 GB levels (a great boon to any warrior and a great saving in fps). While Statue of Zeus, Cathedral of Aachen and Castel del Monte offer 1 attack bonus for every two levels (after level 10). Honestly, even if it was worth it building-for-building compared to a similar amount of SoKs or wishing wells or whatever your favourite building is, I just don't need the aggravation of having to find the optimum layout and constantly shift a dozen buildings around every time I want to re-arrange, find some layout that works well in the new configuration, which may or may not be the same shape as the old one, etc. Moving on has always been more rewarding. How many will it take 12 Attack, 6 FP combo. ![]() ![]() Sure, if you pay for the whole set (and barring divine intervention, you will be using diamonds to complete it), it gives a lot of very well-rounded bonuses, but I find even small sets are a pain in the butt to keep together, and with this one being so large, I dismissed it as "not worth it" the moment I saw it. Click to expand. That was my thinking as well. ![]()
